SENIOR TRAINER & INSTRUCTION DESIGNER - Temporary Assignment

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Sr Trainer & Instructional Designer is responsible for training, educating, and coaching real estate professionals on Market Leader products.  This is accomplished through designing and delivering success-based training programs through various means such as group teleconference, on-site training and coaching webinars. In addition, this position will be a customer advocate in the prioritization of product offerings and coaching of customers in the strategies they need to succeed in their real estate business.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Present online or on-site training sessions for all Market Leader products. This includes daily, weekly, and monthly training sessions as necessary.

  • Manage and produce large group calls, seminars and webinars ranging anywhere from 5 to hundreds of customers.

  • Be responsible for ensuring real estate professionals can and do get results in their business through the information learned in the training classes.

  • Develop, launch and market e-learning and on-site offerings

  • Create, develop and launch learning aids and guides to assist with product understanding

  • Conduct personal follow-up with select group coaching participants as needed

  • Be proactive and assertive in coaching and training customers.

  • Keep up-to-date on all marketing, coaching, and Real Estate industry tools.

  • Advanced knowledge in assessing the client needs and translating it to informative, stimulating  learning education.

  • Responsible to continually create, update and edit educational content to meet the product and behavioral needs of the customer base.

  • Represent agent, broker and lender customers by serving as a customer expert /advocate for real estate professionals.

  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to execute training, marketing and company initiatives.

  • Be fair, compassionate, equitable and firm with agents as necessary; maintain composure during challenging situations.

  • Actively seek out solutions to improve the customer’s experience with Market Leader.

  • Promptly respond to customer requests from training classes, emails, and direct phone calls.

  • Display energy, passion, and enthusiasm for helping Market Leader customers.

  • Understand and embrace culture, leadership and core values of Market Leader.

  • Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5+ years of experience in sales or customer training, public speaking, or coaching.

  • 3+ years of experience as, or working closely with, real estate professionals.

  • Demonstrated proficiency in creating/developing training content and curriculum; proficiency in instructional design principles

  • Excellent at managing group discussions

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong objection handling skills

  • Entrepreneurial self starter with demonstrated ability to drive results in a fast paced environment.

  • Proven ability to get things done.

  • Excellent presentation skills.

  • Positive attitude, patience and tact.

  • Proficient knowledge of GoToMeeting, Microsoft Office Live Meeting, Accuconference and/or other e-learning tools.

  • Excellent PowerPoint skills

  • Bachelor’s degree or relative experience on a year-for-year basis

PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES & REQUIREMENTS

  • Regularly uses PC & phone equipment; regularly opens, reviews, prepares & organizes paperwork & online documents.

  • Up to 50% travel; be able to present remotely or on location
