The Director,
Search/Internet Marketing is responsible for leading overall
strategy and execution of Market Leader's consumer traffic
acquisition efforts.
This includes directing all PPC and SEO
activities for Market Leader, with the long-term goal of
transitioning the balance of consumer traffic acquisition from a
paid to non-paid emphasis.
In addition, this position will be
responsible for enhancing and optimizing the consumer experience on
all Market Leader real estate sites to generate higher click-thru
and conversion rates.
It is expected that the Director,
Search/Internet Marketing will assume a portion of current PPC
efforts, while overseeing the priorities and performance of the ad
team members reporting to this position.
Overall
individual and team success will be measured by monthly/quarterly
traffic fulfillment, gross margin performance, audience mix (paid
vs. non-paid), and expense control.
Success Drivers:

Lead, coach and develop the Advertising &
Network Development team to ensure monthly/quarterly objectives
are met/exceeded

Design, develop and deploy process
improvements to optimize and scale paid search services,
especially by leveraging technology-based solutions

Manage multi-million dollar advertising
budget, various PPC channel partners and online video and cable
TV placements.

Migrate consumer traffic acquisition from
paid to non-paid emphasis while improving key success metrics
for customers and the business

Extend existing sites and identify new
services to build larger organic audience

Lead tracking and analysis of group
performance via regular reporting
Qualifications:
-
7+ years experience with online
marketing/advertising focused on PPC and SEO
-
5+ years experience leading an in-house or
outsourced SEM team
-
Search marketing experience within the Real
Estate sector preferred
-
Experience working with bid management
software solutions preferred
-
Strong negotiating and relationship building
skills
-
Experienced in cost-basis/ROI analysis with
affinity for data-driven decision-making
-
Demonstrated strategic thinking with bias for
execution
-
Proven track record of cross functional
success
-
Must have strong verbal and written
communication
-
BA or BS required (or equivalent experience
on a year for year basis)

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with
experience using Excel required
